about
Frank Volvin, known as "the Hermit," built a cabin out of river stone and cement downstream from First Water Camp in Big Santa Anita Canyon. Making the canyon his home in around 1908, he planted gardens and helped construct cabins once the area was open for building. This song strives to capture the soul of someone who seeks solace in nature.
